We were very fortunate to be able to buy a house high up in the mountains, which was a dream come true for me. The first thing however that I purchased was a smoke detector and uniross batteries since even though this house is as close to heaven as it can be, the reality of it was that it was in the mountain, surrounded by trees, in an area known for its fires. The reason I chose the Uniross batteries was that I know that they are long lasting and I could not afford to have the smoke detectors installed and then not rely on the batteries to keep it working. We moved into our house four months ago and we are all settled, this was such a great move and since I had been inhaling fresh mountain air, I have been so inspired to start painting again, the ideas are just flowing through my mind.
